I didn't want to say goodbye and would book here again. I greatly enjoyed this old-style hotel and stayed for 1 night here. The location was perfect and excellent, close to coast, in the fairly quiet area. Plus, I could reach The Binn Hill not too far from the property.

Had a fab stay! The comfy bed made for some great zzz's after a day exploring the coastal paths. Plus, the staff were super accommodating, really making me feel at home. Just a few ants in the room put a slight damper on things.

The location is great, with scenic views and a friendly vibe. We enjoyed our spacious Triple Room and loved exploring the quaint town, filled with good eateries. Plus, we found the nearby supermarket super handy for snacks with the kids.
My wife says that the beds felt a bit too firm for the little ones.

The room was spacious with a large sofa and separate sleeping areas, perfect for a family. The outdoor private seating area offered a nice retreat, and the TV channels were excellent for keeping the kids entertained. The cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking, and issues with heating left the space feeling uncomfortable. Parking could be a hassle, as it was not as advertised, relying solely on street availability.

Arriving late on a dark evening, the initial appearance was unwelcoming. The reception staff quickly turned that impression around. The room was spacious and warm, with wooden furniture and unique wooden shutters that added character. The high ceiling and box trim offered practical uses as both a seating area and a low shelf. With everything functioning perfectly, the location was ideal, being just a five-minute walk to both the station and the town centre.
The exterior could be more inviting.

missingWrote a review on 10 May
The spacious rooms offered a bit of charm with high ceilings and wooden shutters that added character to the stay. There are fantastic views from the windows with a lovely backdrop for early morning coffee.
Cleanliness left much to be desired, with complaints about unclean bathrooms and rooms with ant infestations that can be quite off-putting. The lack of a secure locking system for windows raised concerns about safety, especially with valuables left unattended. The advertised free parking isn't quite accurate since it's only available on the street, which may create a hassle when looking for spots. The overall maintenance needs attention.
